Park fees that are never in a private charter fare

KEXI's park package per guest: 3D2N: IDR 650,000 per foreign guest, IDR 350,000 per Indonesian guest; 4D3N: IDR 750,000 per foreign guest, IDR 350,000 per Indonesian guest. Komodo National Park tickets and ranger fees are never part of the fare. The entry ticket is IDR 250,000 for foreign guests and IDR 50,000 for Indonesian guests on weekdays, IDR 75,000 on weekends. The ranger fee and local levies are not charged on their own: they sit in KEXI's park package with the government ticket (IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor per day, PP 36/2024). It is added to the boat price, unless your quote shows it as included.
Park tickets are paid by each guest on top of the fare
Each guest pays the entry ticket on top of the whole-yacht rate.
The ticket is IDR 250,000 per foreign guest and IDR 50,000 per Indonesian guest on weekdays, IDR 75,000 on weekends, set by government regulation PP 36/2024. It is charged per person for each day inside the park, so a longer route has more ticketed days.
The entry ticket covers trekking, wildlife observation and snorkelling. Snorkelling at Pink Beach, Taka Makassar and the other stops needs no separate fee.

One package covers the government entrance ticket (IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor per day, PP 36/2024), the ranger fee and the local levies. It is quoted per guest and paid on top of the boat price, unless your quote says it is included. For other trip lengths, the desk quotes the package with your booking.

What 10 and 16 guests pay in fees
For a party of ten foreign guests on one park day, the fee is ten tickets at IDR 250,000; for sixteen, sixteen tickets. A mixed party pays each guest's own rate, with Indonesian guests at the weekday or the weekend rate according to the day.
The table below sets out the entry tickets for 2, 4 and 10 guests over one, two and three days. Multiply the daily figure by the ticketed days, which the quote states for your route.
Set this against the fare. The whole-yacht rate is the same for the first guest as for the last in the band, so park fees are the one cost that grows with every added person. Rates are 2026 rates for the whole yacht, per yacht and not per person, and the park ticket, flights, hotel, insurance and crew gratuities are paid by you.

Ranger and pier charges, set out in the quote
Two further charges sit beside the entry ticket. Ranger fees pay for the park ranger who leads the Komodo Island walk, which is never taken without one. Ranger and local levies belong to the same park package. Both are paid separately, and the quote lists them.
A drone needs its own park permit and is quoted on request, as are a guide and photo and video documentation on a private charter.
Collecting the fees before the pier
The simplest course is for one person, usually the assistant, to collect the sum from the party before arrival, so that nobody settles a ticket at the pier. The quote shows the fees applied, and the sum to collect follows from it.
In confidence. The guest list is seen by the booking office and the crew list only, and the tickets are bought for the names on that list and for nobody else.

Are fees the same for children?
The park sets its own child rates, and the written quote shows the ticket applied to each guest. On the yacht, children under 3 travel free when accompanied.
