Ultra-private yacht charter in Komodo, with discretion

On these yachts, privacy has a precise meaning. The whole yacht is yours for the charter, with no other party aboard. The guest list is yours, seen only by the booking office and the crew list. And a single person handles the file, the transfers and every question from the first message to the pickup.

The captain chooses where to anchor by weather and current. Discretion here is a short list of people who know the names, and procedures within our control: how the list is shared, who meets the party, and what goes into writing.

One figure tells a principal how the yacht is staffed: the ratio line. Voyage 1 has 8 on the crew list, 7 crew and a cruise director. Voyage 2 has 13, 12 crew and a cruise director.

With four guests that is two on the crew list for each guest on Voyage 1, and more than three on Voyage 2. With all 16 aboard, each person on the Voyage 1 list looks after two guests, and on Voyage 2 it is close to one for one.

Suite assignment. The principal chooses between two suites, each with the only jacuzzi on its yacht, set on a private balcony. The bed tables are on the suites page. Paris on Voyage 1 is on the main deck, with a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom, and the jacuzzi balcony. Borobudur on Voyage 2 is on the upper deck, with a king bed, an en-suite bathroom, a wardrobe, a work table and a sofa, and the jacuzzi balcony. No other suite on either yacht is listed with a balcony.

The other three take the nearest suites. On Voyage 1 that is Athena, a queen bed with an extra single, for a companion or a child, and Praha and Venice for staff or guests. On Voyage 2 it is Eiffel, the other king suite on the upper deck, and the queen suites on the main deck. Four guests leave most suites empty on either yacht, which is the point: the product is the whole yacht, not the seat.

Here a principal weighing a short window against an unhurried one can see what two more nights cost. The rate is the same for one guest as for four. Rates are 2026 rates for the whole yacht, per yacht and not per person, and the park ticket, flights, hotel, insurance and crew gratuities are paid by you. On a private charter the guide and the photo and video documentation are not included; both are available on request and quoted separately.

In confidence. A single person holds the file from the first message. The guest list goes only to the sailing permit, and a hotel, driver or photographer receives only the names and times their part needs.

Arrive in Labuan Bajo one day before sailing. On a two-day charter a late arrival costs the first day, as the quote makes clear. A yacht that cannot sail is replaced by one of the same class, or the fare is refunded.

The brief is a single message, and the office builds the file from it.

• The size of the party and which of them are staff.
• Diets and allergies for each person, for the crew.
• The arrival flight and terminal, and the hotel if there is one.
• Suite assignment: who sleeps where, and whether the principal takes Paris or Borobudur.
• Anything the party must not be asked, such as a photograph or a name on a manifest.

If we cannot meet a requirement, our reply says so, before you pay. Anything touching the yacht itself, such as a menu, a crew language or a change of route, goes through us to the owner's crew, and the answer comes back in writing.
