Four days on a luxury yacht in Komodo, unhurried
Updated 27 October 2026
The 4D3N route adds Gili Lawa Darat, Siaba Besar and Mawan Island to the classic stops and ends at Sebayur on day 4. The whole yacht is IDR 170,000,000 (≈ USD 10,429) on Voyage 1 and IDR 286,000,000 (≈ USD 17,546) on Voyage 2 for up to 10 guests, per yacht.
Four slow days, stop by stop
Day 1 is Kelor, then Menjerite Point on Voyage 1 or Rinca on Voyage 2, then Kalong at dusk. It is the only difference between the two yachts on this route, and it comes from each yacht's route, not from preference.
Day 2 takes in Padar, Pink Beach, Taka Makassar and Gili Lawa Darat, a walk that needs shoes with grip and water. Day 3 is for swimming and snorkelling at Manta Point, Siaba Besar and Mawan Island. Day 4 is Sebayur, then the return to Labuan Bajo.
The 4D3N trades Komodo Island for Gili Lawa Darat, Siaba Besar and Mawan; the dragon walk belongs to the 1D, 2D1N and 3D2N. Where the yacht spends each night depends on the weather and the captain's decision that day. The captain sets the order of the stops on the day, because weather and current decide.

The anchorages only a fourth day opens
Gili Lawa Darat is found only on day 2 of the 4D3N, and Siaba Besar and Mawan Island on day 3, alongside Manta Point. On Voyage 2, Rinca opens the route.
Gili Lawa Darat is a walk to a ridge viewpoint, with shoes that grip and water in hand. Siaba Besar and Mawan are swim and snorkel stops in clear, shallow water. The fourth day buys these three stops and one more day on the water.
Sebayur, 1.5 to 2 hours by boat from Labuan Bajo, closes the route: a swim and snorkel stop with beaches and reefs close by.
The 4D3N fare for eight, twelve and sixteen
Voyage 1 has one band to 12 guests and an extra-guest rate of IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) from the 13th; Voyage 2 has a band to 10 and a second from the 11th. On the longest route, the gap between the yachts is at its widest.
| Guests | Voyage 1, whole yacht, 2026 rates | Voyage 1 per person | Voyage 2, whole yacht, 2026 rates | Voyage 2 per person |

Rates are 2026 rates for the whole yacht, per yacht and not per person, and the park ticket, flights, hotel, insurance and crew gratuities are paid by you. On a private charter the guide and the photo and video documentation are not included; both are available on request and quoted separately. The charter page carries the shorter lengths.
A four-day pace for a family or a delegation
Four days leave room between swims. A three-generation family can put the Padar climb on a morning when the youngest and the oldest have slept well, and a delegation can work in the saloon or on the dining deck during a long leg. The family page and the executive retreats page each take one such party in detail.
Suite assignment for a delegation of eight. On Voyage 1, eight guests fill four suites two to a queen bed, and Paris goes to the lead principal. On Voyage 2, eight guests use four suites, with the upper-deck king suites Borobudur and Eiffel for the two most senior guests.
In confidence. A four-day file has more moving parts than a two-day one, yet it stays with one person from the first message to the pickup. The guest list is seen by the booking office and the crew list only.
Arriving the day before, leaving the day after
Arrive in Labuan Bajo the day before sailing, in case a flight is cancelled or delayed. On a four-day route, a missed first day is a quarter of the charter.
The yacht returns to Labuan Bajo on day 4, at a time given with the quote. Book the onward flight for that evening or the next day. A late flight costs a hotel night; an early one cannot be guaranteed against a harbour time that answers to the sea.
Partner hotels in Labuan Bajo are on the hotels page, and the arrival page lists the cities with flights to Labuan Bajo and the papers each guest should carry. Hotel rates are the hotel's own and are not in the fare.
FAQ
Is a Komodo liveaboard worth it compared to just doing a day trip?
A day trip is three stops and no night. The 4D3N is eleven stops over four days and three nights on a yacht that belongs to the party, Kalong at dusk, Manta Point and Gili Lawa Darat among them. It costs more because you have the yacht for longer.
How physically demanding is a Komodo cruise?
The walks are Kelor, a short steep hill, Padar, about 25 to 45 minutes to the main viewpoint, and Gili Lawa Darat, a ridge walk on day 2. Everything else is a swim from the yacht, and any walk can be skipped.
Are there hidden fees on a 4-day charter?
The fee list is in the quote: park tickets and ranger fees, flights, hotel, insurance, alcohol, crew gratuities, and the guide and documentation on request. The whole-yacht rate is IDR 170,000,000 (≈ USD 10,429) on Voyage 1 and IDR 286,000,000 (≈ USD 17,546) on Voyage 2.
Does Voyage 2 sail the same 4D3N route as Voyage 1?
Almost. Day 1 differs: Voyage 1 stops at Menjerite Point and Voyage 2 at Rinca, between Kelor and Kalong. Days 2, 3 and 4 are the same: Padar to Gili Lawa Darat, then Manta Point, Siaba Besar, Mawan, and Sebayur.
