The calendar, yacht by yacht

Voyage 1 sails on Monday and Friday, with 56 dates on the calendar from Friday, 11 December 2026. Voyage 2 sails on Friday, but no Voyage 2 open trip is listed in 2026: its first date is Friday, 7 May 2027, and 8 dates are listed in all.

A listed date is not a held seat; availability is confirmed in writing before you pay.

Open trips start on the days shown in the calendar. A date taken by a private charter is not listed.

The seat and its supplements side by side

In the seat. Per person, twin share, for 3D2N, with a minimum of two to a suite: the local licensed guide and the photo and video documentation, meals each day, soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea, the land and sea excursions, a kayak, a paddle boat, snorkelling equipment and pickup in Labuan Bajo.

Paid by you. Park tickets and ranger fees, flights, the hotel before or after, insurance, crew gratuities and alcohol. Every suite and its fare is on the suites page.

Two yachts on one calendar: which to join

Voyage 1 sails on Mondays and Fridays, Voyage 2 on Fridays only, and Voyage 1 has far more dates: 56 against 8 on the current calendar. Voyage 2 has eight suites to Voyage 1's six, and a crew list of 13 against 8.

Suite assignment for a couple: Paris on Voyage 1 or Borobudur on Voyage 2, each with a jacuzzi on its private balcony, or a queen or king suite below them at a lower seat. For a family of four, Bern on Voyage 1 holds four guests in one suite, at IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) a seat. Voyage 2 has no suite for four.

Why a hosted event needs the whole yacht

An open trip carries other guests. They hold the other suites, share the dining deck and the route, and their names are not yours to approve. A hosted dinner, a board session or a family reunion needs the whole yacht.

The figures are simple and do not change with the date. A seat is IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) at the lowest. The cheapest whole-yacht 3D2N is IDR 140,000,000 (≈ USD 8,589) on Voyage 1 for up to 12 guests and IDR 200,000,000 (≈ USD 12,270) on Voyage 2 for up to 10. The bands are on the charter page. A seat buys a berth and a place at the table; the whole-yacht rate buys the guest list too.

Dates beyond the calendar, and the 2027 rates

2026 rates run to 31 December 2026; rates for 2027 are sent in writing before you pay a deposit. Private charter dates sit on no public calendar: send the dates and the size of the party, and the answer comes back with the yacht named.

Seat availability for your date is confirmed before you pay. If the date you want is missing on both yachts, send it anyway.

FAQ

How far in advance should we book a sailing for July or August?

The 2027 calendar shows July and August dates on both yachts, and seat availability is confirmed in writing. June to August is the peak, so ask as soon as your flights are fixed rather than closer to the date.

What is the difference between a private charter and a shared trip on a Komodo cruise?

A private charter takes the whole yacht, from IDR 140,000,000 (≈ USD 8,589) for 3D2N on Voyage 1. A shared trip sells suites per person, from IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399), with other guests on board. The guide and documentation are included on a shared trip and are not on a private charter.

Is a Komodo liveaboard worth it if I only have 2-3 days?

A 3D2N open trip gives two nights aboard and adds Manta Point and a third-day stop to the classic Padar, Pink Beach and Taka Makassar. Voyage 1 and Voyage 2 list different open-trip routes, set out on their own date pages.

Are children charged for a seat?

Children under 3 travel free with a parent or guardian. From age 3 the full fare applies, so a child over that age in a suite is a full seat. Extra beds exist on Voyage 1 only, in Osaka and Athena, at IDR 5,500,000 (≈ USD 337).
