Booking terms for Lamain Voyage 1 and Lamain Voyage 2

The terms: a 50 percent deposit, the balance 30 days before sailing, 50 percent refunded when you cancel 60 days or more before and 25 percent 30 to 59 days before, and a replacement yacht or full refund if the booked Lamain yacht cannot sail.
The party you contract with
The contract is with PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia (NIB 1805260128363), the booking partner for Lamain Voyage 1 and Lamain Voyage 2. We sell the trip, take payment and arrange pickup. The yachts belong to their owner, and the Lamain crew works for the owner. The quote, the invoice and every receipt carry our name and company number.
The law that governs the booking is Indonesian law. Disputes go to the Indonesian courts.
These terms are written for a private charter of a whole yacht. An open-trip seat follows the same standard terms: a deposit of 50 percent confirms the seat, the balance is due 30 days before sailing, and the refund steps below apply. The seat terms are confirmed in writing with the quote, before any deposit.
Two dated instalments in the contract
The booking has two instalments. A deposit of 50 percent confirms it. The balance is due 30 days before sailing. Inside that window the full amount is due on confirmation. The table below shows the instalments, and the quote shows the amounts and the dates.
Prices include 11 percent VAT. The quote shows the final amount, in rupiah, with the dollar figure beside it.

Deposit 50% to confirm, balance 30 days before departure. You can also settle the balance in Labuan Bajo on the departure day, in cash or by card on the EDC machine. Fees: card payment link 3%, PayPal 7.2%, EDC card machine 3%. Your issuing bank may add its own charges.
Refund steps by notice, and moving a date
Cancel 60 days or more before sailing and 50 percent is refunded. Cancel 30 to 59 days before and 25 percent is refunded. Cancel later than that and nothing is refunded. The table shows the days.
Moving the date costs IDR 500,000 when the notice falls inside the window the table shows. A move requested later than that is treated as a cancellation. A new date is subject to the yacht being free.
A change of yacht after the quote is a new quote.

If we cancel, you are refunded 100 percent · Refunds are paid within 14 days.
If the booked yacht stays in port
If the yacht cannot sail, we arrange a yacht of the same class on the same date at no extra cost, or a full refund. A refund returns what you have paid.
We tell you as soon as we know that the yacht cannot sail, and the replacement or the refund follows in writing.
The guarantee does not turn a change of route into a failure to sail. The captain sets the route on the day.
When the harbour master or the sea sets the route
The itinerary can change with weather, current and tide, and for safety, and the harbour authority can set limits on where a yacht goes. The captain sets the order of the stops on the day, because weather and current decide.
A change of stops is not a reason for a refund; we tell you of it as soon as we know.
Conduct that endangers the yacht, the crew or the national park can end the charter.
Items outside the fare, listed
Ranger and local levies are bundled with the government entrance ticket (PP 36/2024) in one KEXI park package per guest, paid on top of the boat price unless your quote says it is included. Flights and visas, the hotel before and after, travel and medical insurance, alcoholic drinks, personal expenses and crew gratuities are paid by you.
On a private charter the guide and the photo and video documentation are not included; both are available on request and quoted separately. On an open trip the guide and the documentation are included.
Anything not in the quote is confirmed in writing before you pay, and the quote is the full statement of what the fare holds.
Children, insurance and tax
Children under 3 travel free when accompanied by a parent or guardian; from age 3 the full price applies.
Travel and medical insurance is recommended for every guest, including cover for cancellation, medical care and evacuation, and it is not part of the fare. Buy it before the deposit is paid, so that the cancellation scale is covered from the first day.
Prices include 11 percent VAT, and the quote shows the final amount. 2026 rates run to 31 December 2026; rates for 2027 are sent in writing before you pay a deposit.
FAQ
Can I change the date after booking?
Yes, subject to the yacht being free. A change costs IDR 500,000 inside the window shown in the table on this page, and later than that it is treated as a cancellation.
Is travel insurance required?
It is recommended, not required. Cover for cancellation, medical care and evacuation is not part of the fare. The balance is due 30 days before sailing, so buy cover before the deposit.
