Lamain Voyage 2 phinisi
Updated 27 October 2026
Lamain Voyage 2 is a 41.5 m ironwood and teak phinisi with 8 air-conditioned suites for up to 16 guests and 13 on board crew: 12 crew and a cruise director. A private charter is IDR 200,000,000 (≈ USD 12,270) for 3D2N for 1 to 10 guests and IDR 220,000,000 (≈ USD 13,497) for 11 to 16.
Lamain Voyage 2 is 41.5 m long with a 7.9 m beam, built of ironwood and teak. A Yanmar 6HYM-wet engine of 500 hp gives her a cruising speed of 10 to 12 knots. She carries 9,000 litres of fuel, her water maker produces 8,000 litres a day, and her tender is a Yamaha 50 hp dinghy.
Eight suites are spread over three decks, each with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, towels and two bathrobes. Local Wi-Fi is on board, with no speed or coverage promised.
Set beside Voyage 1, Voyage 2 is 7.11 m longer and 2.3 m wider, with two more suites. Those differences explain the longer crew list and the higher rate.

Borobudur is the master suite: a king bed, a wardrobe, a work table and a sofa, and a jacuzzi on its private balcony. It is the only suite on Voyage 2 with a jacuzzi, and it has no extra bed. Its balcony bay opens to the sea.
Eiffel is the VIP suite on the same deck, with a king bed, a wardrobe, a writing table and a sofa. Only Borobudur is listed with a balcony; Eiffel's walls are panelled in wood.
Suite assignment: Borobudur to the principal and a partner, Eiffel to the second pair in the party or to the principal's closest guests. Both have king beds, which suit couples rather than two adults who want separate beds.
Each suite on Voyage 2 has towels and two bathrobes. On an open trip Borobudur is the highest seat on the yacht, at IDR 17,500,000 (≈ USD 1,074) per person, twin share, and Eiffel is IDR 16,000,000 (≈ USD 982).
Big Ben and Liberty are deluxe suites on the main deck, each with a queen bed, a vanity table and an en-suite bathroom. Petra, Colosseum, Taj Mahal and Pyramid are the four superior suites on the lower deck, with a queen bed, a vanity table and an en-suite bathroom each.
No suite below the upper deck has an extra bed or is sold with one. Sixteen guests means two in each of the eight suites.
On an open trip Big Ben and Liberty are IDR 15,000,000 (≈ USD 920) a seat and the four lower-deck suites are IDR 11,000,000 (≈ USD 675) a seat, each per person, twin share.

The saloon holds a bar, an indoor dining table and sofas along the windows. Outside, the dining table sits under a canopy with bench seating, and a separate deck area has an L-shaped sofa and a wooden table.
A kayak, a paddle boat and snorkelling equipment are free to use, and the Yamaha 50 hp tender serves the beach stops. In confidence: on a private charter the guest list is seen by the booking office and the crew list only, and no part of it is posted anywhere.

Open-air dining under a canopy, with bench seating.
Ratio line: 16 guests, 13 on the crew list (12 crew and a cruise director), 1.2 guests to each person on the list when the yacht is full; a party of four has the same thirteen.
The safety and navigation list is in the table below, and the life-jacket count for your date comes with the quote.

Bed arithmetic: 8 suites with 2 guests each make 16, on two king beds and six queens, with no extra bed anywhere.
The 3D2N rate has two bands. A party of 1 to 10 pays IDR 200,000,000 (≈ USD 12,270), which is IDR 20,000,000 (≈ USD 1,227) each at ten. A party of 11 to 16 pays IDR 220,000,000 (≈ USD 13,497), which is IDR 13,750,000 (≈ USD 844) each at sixteen. The step comes with the eleventh guest and not before.
On dates: the calendar shows no Voyage 2 open trip in 2026, and private charter dates before January 2027 are confirmed on request. Rates are 2026 rates for the whole yacht, per yacht and not per person, and the park ticket, flights, hotel, insurance and crew gratuities are paid by you.
A party of up to 12 pays less on Voyage 1: IDR 140,000,000 (≈ USD 8,589) for 3D2N, against IDR 220,000,000 (≈ USD 13,497) on Voyage 2 for 11 or 12 guests. Each guest on Voyage 1 still has a queen bed, and a family can use Bern for up to four.
Where the rate matters less than two upper-deck king suites, eight suites in all or a longer crew list, Voyage 2 remains the choice.
Sixteen at most, two in each of the 8 suites. Voyage 2 has no extra beds.
Borobudur, the master suite with a jacuzzi balcony, and Eiffel, the VIP suite. Both have a king bed. Big Ben and Liberty are on the main deck, and Petra, Colosseum, Taj Mahal and Pyramid are on the lower deck.
No. Each of the eight suites sleeps two, so the yacht sleeps 16. Voyage 2 has no extra beds to sell.
There is local Wi-Fi on board. No speed or coverage is promised, so do not plan a video call from the deck.
Its open-trip dates start on Friday, 7 May 2027, and 8 dates are listed from then, on Fridays. Private charter dates before January 2027 are confirmed on request, and rates for 2027 are sent in writing before you pay a deposit.
Send the guest count and the dates; the person who answers keeps your file until the pickup.
