Ten guests choosing seats against the full yacht
Ten guests need five suites on Voyage 2. The lowest seats are the four lower-deck suites at IDR 11,000,000 (≈ USD 675) each, which take 8 guests, and a deluxe suite for the last two at IDR 15,000,000 (≈ USD 920) each. That is 8 × 11,000,000 = 88,000,000, plus 2 × 15,000,000 = 30,000,000, or IDR 118,000,000 in all.
The whole yacht for 3D2N with ten guests is IDR 200,000,000 (≈ USD 12,270). The seats cost less, and they put ten guests on a yacht where the other three suites belong to other parties, and the route is the open-trip route and not one the group sets. The seat arithmetic also leaves out park tickets, which each guest pays on either option.
Contents of the Voyage 2 seat fare, itemised
A seat is per person, twin share, for 3D2N. It includes the local licensed guide and the photo and video documentation: camera photographs, drone shots and GoPro. It includes meals each day, soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea, the excursions, a kayak, a paddle boat and snorkelling equipment.
Paid by you: park tickets and ranger fees, flights, the hotel before or after, insurance, crew gratuities and alcohol.
What a Voyage 2 sailing visits, in order
Day 1 is Kelor, Rinca and Kalong. Day 2 is Padar, Pink Beach, Taka Makassar, Manta Point and Siaba Besar. Day 3 is Sebayur or Kanawa Island, chosen by the captain, and the return to Labuan Bajo.
The captain sets the order of the stops on the day, because weather and current decide. This is the open-trip route; the private 3D2N route differs on day 1, where Menjerite Point stands in place of Rinca, and on day 2, where Komodo Island stands in place of Siaba Besar, and it ends on Sebayur.
